Shine Behavioral Covid-19 Information
During this difficult time, we wanted to further communicate all that Shine has instituted to keep our clients, their families and our staff safe!
As a medical facility we at Shine plan to stay open providing medically necessary treatments until further notice. We are of course monitoring day-by-day all city, state and federal guidelines and talking with our partners at the Cleveland Clinic to make the best decisions for our clients and staff as possible. We will notify parents/guardians if anything changes.
What we have instituted here at Shine Behavioral:
Each child and therapist will wash hands upon entering the center for at least 20 seconds. Routine hand washing will continue at each bathroom trip and before and after each meal.
We will also be taking the temperature of each client and therapist upon them entering the center each morning.
Any individual with a temperature will be immediately separated from all clients and staff and sent home.
The center is being fully beached down with a solution of bleach and water each evening to include toys used in daily reinforcement. Sensory bins have been temporarily removed. A child-safe disinfectant is also being kept in each therapy room and therapists are utilizing during each session with each child all tables, toys and surfaces.
*Additionally, starting on Monday (3/23/3020), we are instituting a drop off out front. Please line up and stay inside your car until you get to the front of the drop offline (area will be clearly marked, and staff will be there to greet your child and escort inside).
Please review the link below for more information on what you can do to stay safe!
We sincerely wish you and your families a sense of calm and safety throughout this time.
Please take good care of yourselves!
